What You’ll Need

  • A Basic R425 qualification (diploma/degree in nursing) or equivalent that allows registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Professional Nurse.
  • For Grade 2, a minimum of 10 years of relevant nursing experience after registration with SANC is required; for Grade 3, a minimum of 20 years.
  • Registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Professional Nurse is mandatory.
  • Willingness to work shifts, overtime, and rotations within Swartland Hospital.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills, as well as basic computer skills in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
