What You’ll Do
- Provide specialized nursing care for trauma patients in a professional and legal framework.
- Manage and supervise resources effectively to ensure optimal operational functions.
- Assist in planning and coordinating training and research initiatives.
- Organize cost-effective services and support supervisors and management in daily operations.
- Promote quality patient care through the implementation and monitoring of standards.
What You’ll Need
- A Basic R425 qualification (diploma/degree in nursing) or equivalent, allowing registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Professional Nurse.
- A post-basic nursing qualification in Medical and Surgical Nursing Science or equivalent.
- A minimum of 4 years (Grade 1) or 14 years (Grade 2) of recognized nursing experience after registration with the SANC.
- A valid driver’s license (Code B/EB/C1).
- Strong interpersonal, planning, and organizational skills, alongside proficiency in MS Office.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and policies related to nursing within the public sector.
