What You’ll Do
- Deliver clinical nursing care in line with the standards determined by the health facility.
- Promote quality nursing practices and participate in the implementation of National Core Standards.
- Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and supervisors, including report writing as necessary.
- Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure comprehensive nursing care.
- Plan and organize your workload and that of support personnel to guarantee effective patient care.
- Advocate for patients, addressing their needs and expectations in accordance with Batho Pele principles.
- Manage resources efficiently within your unit to enhance patient care services.
What You’ll Need
- Senior Certificate / Grade 12 or an equivalent qualification.
- Basic qualification accredited with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as per Government Notice R425 (Diploma or Degree in General Nursing).
- Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
