What You’ll Do

• Deliver clinical nursing care in line with the standards determined by the health facility.
• Promote quality nursing practices and participate in the implementation of National Core Standards.
• Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and supervisors, including report writing as necessary.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure comprehensive nursing care.
• Plan and organize your workload and that of support personnel to guarantee effective patient care.
• Advocate for patients, addressing their needs and expectations in accordance with Batho Pele principles.
• Manage resources efficiently within your unit to enhance patient care services.

What You’ll Need

• Senior Certificate / Grade 12 or an equivalent qualification.
• Basic qualification accredited with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as per Government Notice R425 (Diploma or Degree in General Nursing).
• Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
