What You’ll Do

  • Supervise and manage radiology services, ensuring adherence to patient care standards
  • Execute clinical duties and functions effectively within a level 2/3 package of service facility
  • Assist in developing and implementing guidelines and protocols for radiological practices
  • Participate in academic training programs and continuous professional development
  • Conduct clinical audits and contribute to the overall improvement of radiological services
  • Collaborate with hospital management to maintain high standards of patient care
  • Conduct quarterly performance reviews and assessments as per the Performance Management and Development System

What You’ll Need

  • Appropriate qualifications allowing registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as a Medical Specialist in Radiology
  • A valid work permit for non-South African applicants
  • Sound knowledge of medical ethics and multidisciplinary management skills
  • At least one year of relevant experience post-registration for Grade 1, five years for Grade 2, and ten years for Grade 3 positions
  • Strong clinical knowledge and skills in patient consultations, assessments, and management
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure, alongside a diverse team
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal abilities
