What You’ll Do

• Supervise and manage clinical haematology services, ensuring effective patient care.
• Execute duties in alignment with institutional standards and patient care objectives.
• Manage patients admitted at a level 2/3 package of service facility.
• Assist in preparing and implementing clinical guidelines and protocols.
• Participate in academic and training programs, contributing to the education of junior staff.
• Conduct clinical audits and engage in continuous professional development.
• Support hospital management in maintaining efficient standards of patient care.

What You’ll Need

• Appropriate qualifications for registration as a Medical Specialist (Sub-Speciality) in Clinical Haematology with the HPCSA.
• Valid work permit for non-South African applicants.
• Sound knowledge of medical ethics and multidisciplinary management.
• Proven experience in clinical assessment and management within the medical discipline.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure, including after-hours when needed.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Knowledge of current health policies and the ability to mentor junior staff.
