What You’ll Do
- Supervise and manage clinical haematology services, ensuring effective patient care.
- Execute duties in alignment with institutional standards and patient care objectives.
- Manage patients admitted at a level 2/3 package of service facility.
- Assist in preparing and implementing clinical guidelines and protocols.
- Participate in academic and training programs, contributing to the education of junior staff.
- Conduct clinical audits and engage in continuous professional development.
- Support hospital management in maintaining efficient standards of patient care.
What You’ll Need
- Appropriate qualifications for registration as a Medical Specialist (Sub-Speciality) in Clinical Haematology with the HPCSA.
- Valid work permit for non-South African applicants.
- Sound knowledge of medical ethics and multidisciplinary management.
- Proven experience in clinical assessment and management within the medical discipline.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure, including after-hours when needed.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Knowledge of current health policies and the ability to mentor junior staff.
