What You’ll Do

• Supervise and manage Internal Medicine services effectively.
• Execute duties with proficiency to uphold patient care standards.
• Manage patients in a level 2/3 package of service facility.
• Assist in developing and implementing medical guidelines and protocols.
• Participate in academic training programs and clinical audits.
• Engage in continuous professional development and support hospital management.
• Conduct quarterly performance reviews and assessments as part of the Performance Management and Development System.

What You’ll Need

• Appropriate qualifications for registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as a Medical Specialist in Internal Medicine.
• A valid work permit, if applicable.
• Sound knowledge of medical ethics and multidisciplinary management.
• Proven experience in the relevant medical discipline, with varying requirements based on grade level.
• Excellent clinical assessment, management, and consultation skills.
• Ability to work independently under pressure and maintain good interpersonal relationships.
• Knowledge of current health policies and legislation in South Africa.
