What You’ll Do

  • Provide clinical services, managing and coordinating CT scanning operations.
  • Oversee X-ray reporting and assist with ultrasound services.
  • Ensure maintenance of quality care standards in collaboration with the Chief Radiographer and Clinical Manager.
  • Guide, teach, and supervise staff in radiology services.
  • Manage resources, assets, and consumables effectively to ensure optimal service delivery.
  • Participate in strategic planning and statistical reporting for radiology services.

What You’ll Need

  • Appropriate qualification allowing registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as a Medical Specialist in Radiology.
  • Registration with the HPCSA as a Medical Specialist in Radiology.
  • Relevant experience:
  • Grade 1: No experience required after registration.
  • Grade 2: Minimum of 5 years’ experience post-registration.
  • Grade 3: Minimum of 10 years’ experience post-registration.
  • Valid (Code B/EB) driver’s license and willingness to travel.
  • Strong communication skills and knowledge of relevant legislation and hospital policies.
