What You’ll Do

• Deliver high-quality medical care within the division of Clinical Haematology.
• Provide outreach and in-reach support services, including community overtime.
• Engage in the teaching and training of medical students and registrars.
• Conduct research and supervise trainee research projects.
• Perform clinical governance and ensure compliance with legal and statutory requirements.
• Conduct clinical audits and monitor relevant clinical effectiveness indicators.
• Assist with medical administration as directed by the Head of Department.

What You’ll Need

• Valid registration as a Medical Specialist in Internal Medicine with the HPCSA.
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Medical Specialist post-registration.
• Strong teaching skills and experience in medical education.
• Knowledge of public service legislation, policies, and procedures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A valid driver’s license and be a South African citizen or permanent resident.
