What You’ll Do
- Deliver high-quality medical care within the division of Clinical Haematology.
- Provide outreach and in-reach support services, including community overtime.
- Engage in the teaching and training of medical students and registrars.
- Conduct research and supervise trainee research projects.
- Perform clinical governance and ensure compliance with legal and statutory requirements.
- Conduct clinical audits and monitor relevant clinical effectiveness indicators.
- Assist with medical administration as directed by the Head of Department.
What You’ll Need
- Valid registration as a Medical Specialist in Internal Medicine with the HPCSA.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Medical Specialist post-registration.
- Strong teaching skills and experience in medical education.
- Knowledge of public service legislation, policies, and procedures.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A valid driver’s license and be a South African citizen or permanent resident.
