What You’ll Do

• Supervise and manage Reconstructive & Plastic Surgery services at Witbank Hospital.
• Ensure proficiency in executing clinical duties aligned with patient care standards.
• Assist in the preparation and implementation of clinical guidelines and protocols.
• Participate in academic training programs and contribute to clinical audits.
• Support hospital management in maintaining optimal patient care standards.
• Conduct quarterly performance reviews in accordance with the Performance Management and Development System.
• Engage in continuous professional development and mentorship of junior staff.

What You’ll Need

• Appropriate qualifications enabling registration as a Medical Specialist with the HPCSA in Reconstructive & Plastic Surgery.
• Valid work permit required for non-South African applicants.
• Strong knowledge of medical ethics and multidisciplinary teamwork.
• Experience in clinical assessments and patient management.
• For Grade 1: No experience required post-registration; for Grade 2: Minimum of five years post-registration experience; for Grade 3: Minimum of ten years post-registration experience.
• Sound clinical knowledge and ability to work independently under pressure.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
