What You’ll Do
- Supervise and manage Reconstructive & Plastic Surgery services at Witbank Hospital.
- Ensure proficiency in executing clinical duties aligned with patient care standards.
- Assist in the preparation and implementation of clinical guidelines and protocols.
- Participate in academic training programs and contribute to clinical audits.
- Support hospital management in maintaining optimal patient care standards.
- Conduct quarterly performance reviews in accordance with the Performance Management and Development System.
- Engage in continuous professional development and mentorship of junior staff.
What You’ll Need
- Appropriate qualifications enabling registration as a Medical Specialist with the HPCSA in Reconstructive & Plastic Surgery.
- Valid work permit required for non-South African applicants.
- Strong knowledge of medical ethics and multidisciplinary teamwork.
- Experience in clinical assessments and patient management.
- For Grade 1: No experience required post-registration; for Grade 2: Minimum of five years post-registration experience; for Grade 3: Minimum of ten years post-registration experience.
- Sound clinical knowledge and ability to work independently under pressure.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
