What You’ll Need

• Appropriate qualifications for registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as a Medical Specialist in Critical Care.
• A valid work permit (for non-South African applicants).
• Strong knowledge of medical ethics and current health policies.
• Experience in multidisciplinary management and teamwork.
• Competency in clinical assessment, history taking, and patient management.
• Proven ability to work independently and under pressure.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to guide and teach junior staff in the department.
