What You’ll Do

• Supervise the management of psychiatric services at Witbank Hospital
• Execute clinical duties with proficiency and in accordance with patient care standards

• Participate in academic training programs and contribute to continuous professional development

What You’ll Need

• Appropriate qualifications for registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as a Medical Specialist in Psychiatry
• Relevant experience: Grade 1 – None; Grade 2 – Minimum of 5 years; Grade 3 – Minimum of 10 years after registration with HPCSA
• Sound knowledge of medical ethics and current health regulations
• Skills in consultations, history taking, clinical assessment, and management
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
