What You’ll Do

• Supervise and manage ENT services, ensuring high-quality patient care.
• Execute medical duties with proficiency, adhering to patient care standards.
• Accept responsibility for managing patients admitted to level 2/3 facilities.
• Assist in developing and implementing clinical guidelines and protocols.
• Participate in academic and training programs to foster continuous learning.
• Engage in clinical audits and contribute to professional development initiatives.
• Support hospital management in maintaining efficient patient care standards.
• Comply with the Performance Management and Development System through regular assessments.

What You’ll Need

• Appropriate qualifications enabling registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as a Medical Specialist in ENT.
• A valid work permit (for non-South African applicants).
• Sound knowledge of medical ethics and current health regulations.
• Experience in multidisciplinary management and teamwork in a clinical setting.
• Strong clinical assessment, management skills, and the ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a focus on collaboration.
• A commitment to teaching and guiding junior staff within the department.
