What You’ll Do

  • Provide expert clinical care to paediatric patients in a level 2/3 facility.
  • Manage and oversee the treatment and care of admitted patients.
  • Develop, implement, and adhere to clinical guidelines and protocols.
  • Participate in academic and training programmes to enhance professional skills.
  • Conduct clinical audits and engage in continuous professional development activities.
  • Collaborate with hospital management to maintain high standards of patient care.
  • Contribute to a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive health services.

What You’ll Need

  • An MBChB degree that qualifies for registration with the HPCSA as a Medical Practitioner.
  • A minimum of ten years of experience post-registration for South African qualified practitioners.
  • Strong knowledge of medical ethics and current health policies.
  • Experience in multidisciplinary management and teamwork in a medical setting.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage patient care effectively.
  • Experience in additional medical disciplines such as Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Neurosurgery, Anaesthesiology, Urology, and ENT is advantageous.
