What You’ll Do

What You’ll Need

  • MBChB degree and registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as a Medical Practitioner.
  • A minimum of ten years of experience post-registration for South African qualified practitioners or eleven years for foreign qualified practitioners.
  • Sound knowledge of medical ethics and current health policies.
  • Experience in multidisciplinary management and teamwork within a medical discipline.
  • Strong clinical skills, including consultation, history taking, and patient management.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to teach and guide junior staff.
  • Personal attributes such as stress tolerance, self-confidence, and the ability to work within a team.
