About the Role
The Department of Health is seeking a dedicated Medical Officer Grade 3 in Radiology to join the team at Rob Ferreira Hospital in Mbombela and Witbank Hospital in the Nkangala District. What You’ll Do
- Manage and oversee the care of patients within a level 2/3 package of services.
- Develop, implement, and adhere to clinical guidelines and protocols.

- Collaborate with hospital management to maintain high standards of patient care.
- Engage in multidisciplinary teamwork to deliver comprehensive healthcare solutions.
What You’ll Need
- A recognized MBChB degree enabling registration with the HPCSA as a Medical Practitioner.
- A minimum of ten years’ experience for South African registered practitioners or eleven years for foreign-qualified medical professionals.
- Sound knowledge of medical ethics and current health regulations.
- Experience in a variety of medical disciplines, including Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Neurosurgery, Anaesthesiology, Urology, and ENT is advantageous.
- Strong clinical assessment and management skills.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal abilities.
