What You’ll Do

  • Provide high-quality outpatient care to patients in the Drakenstein SD Primary Healthcare facilities.
  • Engage in outreach and support services to local clinics, ensuring comprehensive healthcare delivery.
  • Participate actively in skills transfer and training programs for healthcare colleagues.
  • Contribute to the clinical governance of facilities within the Drakenstein Sub District as necessary.
  • Utilize your expertise in managing general medical and surgical conditions in both hospital and primary healthcare settings.

What You’ll Need

  • An appropriate qualification allowing registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as a Medical Practitioner.
  • Registration with the HPCSA as a Medical Practitioner.
  • Experience requirements vary: Grade 1 requires no experience post-registration for South African qualified employees; Grade 2 requires a minimum of 5 years; Grade 3 requires a minimum of 10 years’ experience.
  • A valid driver’s license and the ability to conduct outreach services.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and teamwork skills, along with computer literacy in MS Office applications.
