What You’ll Do

  • Implement health promotion programs and interventions at both facility and community levels.
  • Plan and conduct information, education, and communication activities to raise health awareness.
  • Encourage community and non-governmental participation in health initiatives.
  • Establish household components for integrated management of childhood illness and healthy lifestyle interventions.
  • Participate in local forums to foster relationships across sectors and identify health advocacy opportunities.
  • Distribute information, education, and communication (IEC) materials within the sub-district.
  • Provide support for health sector initiatives initiated by local authorities, schools, and workplaces.
  • Submit reports on health promotion activities and their outcomes.

What You’ll Need

  • Senior Certificate / Grade 12 or equivalent.
  • An appropriate and recognized National Diploma in Health Promotion or equivalent qualification.
  • A minimum of three years’ relevant experience in health promotion.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work well under pressure with sound analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Outlook, and Word).
  • A valid driver’s license is required.
