What You’ll Do

  • Assist clinicians in providing dental care and clinical patient management
  • Maintain a hygienic environment and adhere to infection control protocols

  • Conduct stock control and maintain dental equipment
  • Keep accurate records and databases of work done

What You’ll Need

  • An appropriate qualification or prescribed in-service training for registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as a Dental Assistant
  • For Grade 1: No prior experience required; for Grade 2: Minimum of 10 years’ relevant experience
  • Valid driver’s license (Code B/EB) with a willingness to travel between clinics
  • Competent in verbal and written communication
  • Strong computer skills, including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of the National Oral Health Policy and dental instruments
