What You’ll Do

  • Coordinate and compile reports related to human resource postings.
  • Monitor and review the administration of HR processes and strategies.
  • Advise on recruitment and selection processes within the department.
  • Develop and implement service standards in the area of responsibility.
  • Manage staff performance through approved management systems.
  • Ensure compliance with employment equity and skills development initiatives.
  • Facilitate the processing of pension benefits and leave payouts.
  • Maintain complete and accurate human resource records.
  • Approve PERSAL transactions and ensure effective resource utilization.

What You’ll Need

  • Senior Certificate/Grade 12 plus six years of relevant experience in Human Resource Management, or a Diploma/Degree in Human Resource Management or Public Administration plus three years of relevant experience.
  • Minimum of three years’ experience as a Personnel Practitioner, Principal Personnel Officer, or Administrative Officer (Level 7).
  • Completion of at least three PERSAL courses.
  • Extensive knowledge of PERSAL and the ability to interpret PERSAL reports.
  • Strong understanding of policies related to Recruitment, Selection, and Employees Benefits.
  • Excellent computer literacy, particularly in MS Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • Strong interpersonal, networking, and communication skills.
  • Valid driver’s license is required.
