What You’ll Do

• Provide strategic leadership and accountability for metro health services.
• Oversee the rendering of efficient health services across various facilities.
• Facilitate integrated clinical implementation support services.
• Ensure alignment with departmental strategies, policies, and planning processes.
• Collaborate with facility and infrastructure management for effective service delivery.
• Support health intelligence initiatives to improve clinical outcomes.
• Manage people and financial resources within the Chief Directorate.
• Act as a key influencer in the departmental strategic agenda through participation in executive committees.

What You’ll Need

• An appropriate tertiary qualification (NQF level 7) in Health, Social Science, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior managerial role within health services.
• A valid driver’s license and readiness to travel extensively within the province.
• Proven strategic leadership capabilities and understanding of health legislation.
• Strong skills in program and project management, as well as financial and people management.
