What You’ll Do

  • Coordinate the development and implementation of policies and legislation focused on social justice and women’s empowerment.
  • Analyze existing policies to identify challenges and propose necessary amendments.
  • Conduct research and gender analysis to support policy content and alignment with legal standards.
  • Engage with stakeholders to facilitate the implementation of social governance initiatives.
  • Maintain a comprehensive database of stakeholders and follow up on their participation in programs.
  • Support the development of monitoring and evaluation systems for social programs.
  • Provide administrative and logistical support for the unit, ensuring smooth operations.

What You’ll Need

  • A Grade 12 certificate and a Bachelor’s degree (NQF Level 7) in Social or Human Sciences, Development Studies, or Social Work.
  • A valid driver’s license.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of supervisory experience in a related field.
  • Knowledge of initiatives promoting women’s social justice and empowerment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in MS Office.
  • Personal attributes including high emotional intelligence, integrity, and the ability to work under pressure.
