What You’ll Do
- Perform regular inspections and maintenance of plumbing systems in health facilities.
- Carry out plumbing repairs and improvements as per job cards.
- Prepare and install plumbing systems according to health facility needs.
- Maintain accurate records of materials, labor, and inventory.
- Respond promptly to emergency plumbing issues as they arise.
- Ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety regulations during all tasks.
- Collaborate with supervisors and other team members to complete projects efficiently.
- Conduct preventative maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
What You’ll Need
- Minimum of Grade 10-12 or equivalent qualifications along with a Trade Test Certificate in Plumbing.
- A valid driver’s license is required for this role.
- Proven experience as a plumber with a solid understanding of plumbing materials and techniques.
- Knowledge of painting repairs, maintenance, and relevant codes and standards.
- Physical fitness and a commitment to working overtime or on standby as needed.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work safely on ladders and scaffolding.
