What You’ll Do

• Perform regular inspections and maintenance of plumbing systems in health facilities.
• Carry out plumbing repairs and improvements as per job cards.
• Prepare and install plumbing systems according to health facility needs.
• Maintain accurate records of materials, labor, and inventory.
• Respond promptly to emergency plumbing issues as they arise.
• Ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety regulations during all tasks.
• Collaborate with supervisors and other team members to complete projects efficiently.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure safety and functionality.

What You’ll Need

• Minimum of Grade 10-12 or equivalent qualifications along with a Trade Test Certificate in Plumbing.
• A valid driver’s license is required for this role.
• Proven experience as a plumber with a solid understanding of plumbing materials and techniques.
• Knowledge of painting repairs, maintenance, and relevant codes and standards.
• Physical fitness and a commitment to working overtime or on standby as needed.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work safely on ladders and scaffolding.
