What You’ll Do

  • Lead and manage the Procurement section within the Supply Chain Management component.
  • Ensure compliance with all legislative requirements regarding procurement transactions.
  • Compile and manage the annual Procurement Plan for the department.
  • Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on procurement activities.
  • Provide effective support to your supervisor and management in all supply chain matters.
  • Oversee human resources management within your team to maintain a productive work environment.

What You’ll Need

  • A Senior Certificate (or equivalent) with Mathematics and/or Accountancy as a passed subject, or relevant experience/competencies.
  • Appropriate experience in administrative duties within a healthcare environment.
  • Valid code B/EB driver’s license.
  • Proven knowledge and experience in Procurement and Supply Chain Management in the Public Service.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, communication, analytical, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with the PFMA, Finance Instructions, Provincial and National Treasury regulations, and Supply Chain Management Instructions.
