The Department of Health is seeking an Administrative Officer: Supply Chain Management to join the team at Karl Bremer Hospital, located in Bellville, Western Cape. What You’ll Do
- Lead and manage the Procurement section within the Supply Chain Management component.
- Ensure compliance with all legislative requirements regarding procurement transactions.
- Compile and manage the annual Procurement Plan for the department.
- Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on procurement activities.
- Provide effective support to your supervisor and management in all supply chain matters.
- Oversee human resources management within your team to maintain a productive work environment.
What You’ll Need
- A Senior Certificate (or equivalent) with Mathematics and/or Accountancy as a passed subject, or relevant experience/competencies.
- Appropriate experience in administrative duties within a healthcare environment.
- Valid code B/EB driver’s license.
- Proven knowledge and experience in Procurement and Supply Chain Management in the Public Service.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, communication, analytical, and strategic thinking skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with the PFMA, Finance Instructions, Provincial and National Treasury regulations, and Supply Chain Management Instructions.
