What You’ll Do
- Control and manage all revenue transactions, ensuring adherence to relevant financial regulations.
- Maintain accurate financial and patient records, including reconciliations and audit-ready files.
- Manage billing and revenue collection for special EMS events, tracking payments and following up on outstanding invoices.
- Monitor and analyse revenue performance, reporting any deviations to management.
- Supervise and coordinate the Revenue Administration staff, including training and performance management.
- Support the Assistant Director: Financial Management with monthly revenue reports and stakeholder meetings.
- Ensure effective office administration and customer service, addressing all revenue-related inquiries promptly.
What You’ll Need
- A minimum educational qualification of a 3-year Diploma or Degree.
- Relevant experience in financial administration within a public sector or health environment.
- Supervisory experience is essential.
- Strong leadership, planning, and organisational skills.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Extensive knowledge of PFMA, National Treasury Regulations, and financial directives.
- Familiarity with BAS, HIS billing systems, and financial controls.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, report-writing, and interpersonal skills.
