What You’ll Do
- Provide specialized nursing care in accordance with established norms and standards.
- Utilize resources efficiently to manage costs and maintain budgetary compliance.
- Implement risk management strategies to enhance service delivery and reduce complaints.
- Record and manage patient data using electronic systems and manual documentation.
- Engage in continuous professional development and uphold ethical standards in nursing practice.
What You’ll Need
- A Senior Certificate along with a diploma or degree in nursing that allows registration with the SANC.
- Current registration with the South African Nursing Council as a Professional Nurse.
- A post-basic nursing qualification in Critical Care Nursing, Operating Theatre Technique, Oncology Nursing, Advanced Midwifery, or Neonatology.
- A minimum of 4 years’ experience in nursing after registration as a Professional Nurse for Grade 1, or 14 years for Grade 2, with relevant post-basic experience.
- Strong clinical competencies and skills specific to the area of specialty, alongside excellent organizational and interpersonal abilities.
- Computer literacy in Word and Excel, along with a strong sense of integrity and work ethics.
