What You’ll Do
- Provide clinical nursing care in accordance with the professional scope of practice and nursing standards.
- Promote quality of nursing care and participate in implementing the National Core Standards.
- Communicate effectively with patients, supervisors, and fellow clinicians, including necessary documentation.
- Collaborate within a multi-disciplinary team to ensure high-quality nursing care.
- Organize and manage your workload and the tasks of support staff to ensure proper patient care.
- Advocate for patients’ needs and promote awareness of their expectations and requirements.
- Manage and efficiently utilize resources allocated to your unit.
What You’ll Need
- Senior Certificate / Grade 12 or equivalent.
- Basic qualification accredited with SANC in accordance with Government Notice R425 (Diploma/Degree in General Nursing).
- Registration with SANC as a Professional Nurse.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
