What You’ll Do

  • Process advertising requests for vacancies within the department promptly and efficiently.
  • Liaise with various role players to ensure timely placement of job adverts.
  • Conduct quality assurance checks on advertisements before they are distributed.
  • Administer the weekly placement of adverts in external media and on the government website.
  • Oversee the activation of posts on the Online Recruitment Portal.
  • Verify invoices and ensure timely payments to service providers.
  • Maintain effective records of documentation related to job advertisements.
  • Follow up on outstanding matters and communicate with Districts, Institutions, and Line Managers.
  • Handle written and verbal correspondence, providing advice and support to stakeholders.
  • Train and advise Line Managers on the advertising of vacancies.
  • Supervise staff and provide optimal support to the supervisor.

What You’ll Need

  • A Senior Certificate (or equivalent) as a minimum educational qualification.
  • Relevant experience in advertising within a professional setting.
  • Supervisory experience is advantageous.
  • A valid driver’s license is required.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong typing skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizing and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with various stakeholders.
