What You’ll Do

  • Provide clinical physiotherapy services in various areas, focusing on patient assessment and treatment.
  • Assist in the strategic planning and operational management of the Physiotherapy Department.
  • Mentor junior physiotherapists and support their professional development.
  • Manage physical and human resources within your clinical area, ensuring effective operations.
  • Coordinate administrative activities related to patient care within the clinical setting.
  • Participate in outreach programs to other Primary Health Care Clinics as necessary.
  • Engage in research projects to enhance service delivery and patient outcomes.

What You’ll Need

  • A relevant qualification allowing registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as a Physiotherapist.
  • Registration with the HPCSA as a Physiotherapist.
  • For Grade 1: No experience required for RSA qualified employees; 1 year of relevant experience for foreign qualified employees.
  • For Grade 2: Minimum of 10 years’ relevant experience post-registration for RSA qualified employees; 11 years for foreign qualified employees.
  • For Grade 3: Minimum of 20 years’ relevant experience post-registration for RSA qualified employees; 21 years for foreign qualified employees.
  • Valid (Code B/EB) driver’s license and willingness to travel to outreach clinics.
  • Strong clinical physiotherapeutic skills, including assessment and treatment of patients.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and MS Outlook.
