What You’ll Do
- Provide general messenger services to facilitate communication and operations within the pharmacy department.
- Answer phones and deliver messages promptly to relevant staff members.
- Ensure the safe and accurate delivery of packaged pharmaceutical items to designated areas within the Tygerberg Hospital Complex.
- Collect packages from wards and other designated areas as needed.
- Check the external appearance of items for any damage and accuracy before delivery.
- Maintain the integrity of the cold chain for temperature-sensitive medications.
- Report any deviations or discrepancies in stock or deliveries immediately.
