What You’ll Do

• Facilitate the development of tourism products in collaboration with industry stakeholders.
• Conduct audits of tourism infrastructure to identify urgent upgrade needs.
• Coordinate engagement with relevant authorities to implement necessary interventions.
• Mobilize resources for the development of identified tourism products.
• Manage the assessment and improvement of technology needs for tourism product development.
• Analyze trends in visitor enhancement technologies across various sites.
• Engage with operators to promote visitor-friendly technologies.
• Research funding opportunities for product development initiatives.
• Liaise with community product owners to address development issues and access market opportunities.

What You’ll Need

• A recognized NQF Level 7 qualification in Tourism, Development Economics, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in tourism infrastructure management, with a minimum of 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Proficiency in MS Office and basic project management skills.
• In-depth knowledge of relevant Acts, tourism management, and development principles.
• Strong understanding of project management systems and service delivery innovation.
• Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and networking skills.
• A valid driver’s license; candidates with disabilities preventing driving will still be considered.
