What You’ll Do

  • Plan, organize, control, and coordinate the recruitment and selection of educators.
  • Manage the issuance and verification of educator vacancy lists and advertisements.
  • Conduct personnel suitability checks for nominated candidates.
  • Maintain and monitor recruitment databases to ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
  • Facilitate recruitment training and advocacy campaigns at tertiary institutions.
  • Provide recruitment advisory services and support to stakeholders, including School Governing Bodies.
  • Prepare monthly reports on recruitment and selection progress.
  • Oversee financial management of the component, including budget planning and expenditure monitoring.

What You’ll Need

  • National Senior Certificate (or equivalent) and a relevant three-year qualification in HR, Public Administration/Management, or Industrial Psychology.
  • A minimum of three years of middle management experience in a related field.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the recruitment process and relevant legal frameworks.
  • Proficiency in project management, financial management, and legal administration.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with effective interpersonal abilities.
