What You’ll Do

  • Provide veterinary laboratory testing services to support animal health.
  • Populate databases, such as LIMS, to ensure accurate veterinary statistics.
  • Stay updated on policies, procedures, and technologies relevant to veterinary diagnostics.
  • Promote and maintain a safe laboratory environment for staff and samples.

What You’ll Need

  • Grade 12 and an undergraduate National Diploma in Veterinary Technology or a recognized equivalent.
  • Registration with the South African Veterinary Council is recommended.
  • A valid driver’s license (exceptions apply for individuals with disabilities).
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in communication, both verbal and written.
  • Time management skills and knowledge in quality assurance, reproduction, parasitology, hygiene survey, and serology.
