What You’ll Do
- Render animal dipping services to ensure livestock health and safety.
- Assist with the minor maintenance of animal handling and dipping infrastructure.
- Support animal disease control through vaccinations, treatments, and dehorning.
- Facilitate community coordination and effective reporting.
- Count and record animals accurately.
- Maintain the correct water levels in dip tanks and mix dipping materials.
- Monitor the dipping process and ensure cleanliness in the dip tank area.
- Safeguard dipping chemicals and assist with animal restraint as needed.
What You’ll Need
- A Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
- Experience in animal handling is an added advantage.
- A valid Code B/EB or higher driver’s license.
- Good verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with farmers and clients.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Competence in livestock handling practices.
- Basic computer skills.
