What You’ll Do

• Render animal dipping services to ensure livestock health and safety.
• Assist with the minor maintenance of animal handling and dipping infrastructure.
• Support animal disease control through vaccinations, treatments, and dehorning.
• Facilitate community coordination and effective reporting.
• Count and record animals accurately.
• Maintain the correct water levels in dip tanks and mix dipping materials.
• Monitor the dipping process and ensure cleanliness in the dip tank area.
• Safeguard dipping chemicals and assist with animal restraint as needed.

What You’ll Need

• A Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in animal handling is an added advantage.
• A valid Code B/EB or higher driver’s license.
• Good verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with farmers and clients.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Competence in livestock handling practices.
• Basic computer skills.
