What You’ll Do

  • Render animal dipping services to promote livestock health and disease prevention
  • Assist with minor maintenance of animal handling and dipping infrastructure
  • Help with animal disease control, including vaccinations and treatments
  • Support community coordination and reporting efforts
  • Count and record animals to maintain accurate records
  • Monitor and maintain correct dip-tank water levels and mix dipping materials
  • Clean the dip tank area and safeguard dipping chemicals
  • Provide assistance with animal restraint during treatments

What You’ll Need

  • Grade 12 or an equivalent qualification
  • Experience in animal handling is an advantage
  • A valid Code B/EB or higher driver’s licence
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Problem-solving capabilities and competency in livestock handling
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure
  • Basic computer skills
