What You’ll Do
- Render animal dipping services to prevent and control diseases
- Assist with minor maintenance of animal handling and dipping infrastructure
- Help with animal disease control, including vaccinations, treatments, and castration/dehorning
- Support community coordination and efficient reporting
- Count and record animals for accurate tracking
- Maintain dip-tank water levels and mix dipping materials
- Monitor dipping processes and ensure cleanliness of the dip tank area
- Safeguard dipping chemicals used in the process
What You’ll Need
- Grade 12 or an equivalent qualification
- Experience in animal handling is advantageous
- A valid Code B/EB driver’s license
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Problem-solving abilities and competence in livestock handling
- Ability to work under pressure and basic computer skills
