What You’ll Do

• Operate departmental vehicles and specialized agricultural machinery safely and efficiently
• Transport officials, work teams, and materials, ensuring timely deliveries
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on vehicles and equipment
• Maintain accurate records, including logbooks and trip authorizations
• Assist with agricultural infrastructure and production support at departmental facilities
• Identify and report mechanical faults, facilitating necessary repairs
• Comply with departmental policies and safety regulations

What You’ll Need

• Grade 12 or equivalent qualification recognized by SAQA
• Valid driver’s license code C1/code 10 minimum
• Professional Driving Permit (PrDP)
• Experience in driving and operating specialized vehicles and agricultural machinery
• Knowledge of basic inspection and maintenance procedures
• Understanding of occupational health and safety requirements
• Good communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team
