What You’ll Do

• Operate tractors and specialized machinery for various farming activities.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on tractors and other equipment.
• Assist with the preparation and management of vineyards, orchards, and nurseries.
• Conduct pesticide application in line with safety guidelines and recommendations.
• Provide administrative support related to equipment operation and maintenance.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure effective pest control in quarantine facilities.
• Follow operational manuals and maintenance charts for safe equipment usage.

What You’ll Need

• A Grade 10 Certificate (NQF 3) is required.
• At least five years of experience driving and operating specialized equipment.
• Knowledge of equipment operation and maintenance.
• Ability to interpret operating manuals and service charts.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
• A valid driver’s license (Code EC) and an operating certificate for relevant machinery.
• Strong attention to detail and good eyesight for equipment inspection.
