About the Opportunity

Join Eskom’s Primary Energy Business Unit as an intern in the Water and Environmental Operations Department located in Sunninghill, Gauteng. This 12-month internship is part of the YES Programme, a public-private initiative designed to tackle youth unemployment by providing meaningful workplace experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Interns will gain exposure to various administrative, operational, and environmental-support activities within the department. Specific duties will be assigned based on operational needs.

Requirements/Qualifications

– South African citizen
– Aged between 18 and 34
– Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
– Unemployed and not studying full-time
– No prior participation in the YES Programme
– Not permanently employed by one employer for more than one year
– Willing to complete Eskom’s recruitment process
– Available for the full 12-month contract
