What You’ll Do

• Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans and course materials for agricultural subjects.
• Present practical and theoretical classes, maintaining a positive and disciplined classroom environment.
• Conduct research to enhance curriculum development and integrate industry-relevant findings into existing courses.
• Collaborate with agricultural stakeholders to align educational offerings with current industry needs.
• Assess student performance through examinations, assignments, and practical evaluations.
• Manage administrative responsibilities including attendance records, student records, and exam results.
• Contribute to departmental planning and policy development and serve on various academic committees.

What You’ll Need

• A relevant 4-year B Sc Degree or equivalent specializing in Crop Production, Animal Production, or Pasture Science.
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a lecturing or related educational role.
• Strong computer skills and proficiency in using technology for teaching and administration.
• Formal training and presentation skills to effectively engage students and deliver course content.
• A commitment to supporting students and fostering a positive learning environment.
