What You’ll Do

  • Manage and strategically direct all programmes under Structured Agricultural Training and Development.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of strategies and policies in line with national standards.
  • Ensure quality assurance processes are in place for higher and further education qualifications.
  • Develop business models to enhance income generation projects for the college.
  • Coordinate and report on the implementation of agricultural training and development requirements.
  • Interact with various stakeholders to optimize productivity and support economic growth in the agricultural sector.
  • Identify potential risks and proactively implement solutions to mitigate them.

What You’ll Need

  • A relevant NQF level 7 qualification in Agriculture, Education, Business Management, or Public Management.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a middle or senior managerial role within a higher education environment.
  • A valid driver’s license (code B).
  • Compulsory Nyukela SMS pre-entry certificate prior to appointment.
  • Strong understanding of relevant policies and legislation applicable to agricultural training.
  • Excellent leadership, people management, and financial management skills.
