What You’ll Do

  • Capture receipts and journals using the Basic Accounting System (BAS).
  • Process debtor’s accounts and monitor PEIS accounts.
  • Manage the billing of PAIA accounts and administer sectional logistics.
  • Collect cash and manage deposits efficiently.
  • Prepare financial reports and reconciliations for review.
  • Request and consolidate revenue information from various facilities for submission to Treasury.

What You’ll Need

  • A Senior Certificate / Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
  • Diploma or Degree (NQF Level 6/7) in Accounting, Finance, or Financial Management as recognized by SAQA.
  • Knowledge and experience in provisioning administration, particularly in the context of Public Finance Management Act (PFMA) and Treasury Regulations.
  • Proficiency in computer literacy and sound interpersonal skills.
  • Strong management and supervisory skills, with an ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
  • A valid driver’s license is an added advantage.
