What You’ll Do

  • Provide administrative and logistical support to the department.
  • Assist with typing and proof-reading of important documents.
  • Manage the flow of incoming and outgoing documents.
  • Offer support for budgetary management and financial documentation.
  • Maintain organized filing and tracking systems for various documents.
  • Support inventory control processes to ensure resource availability.
  • Compile and consolidate the Portfolio of Evidence in preparation for audits.

What You’ll Need

  • A Grade 12 certificate and a recognized Higher Certificate or National Diploma in Public Administration.
  • Relevant experience in an administrative role.
  • Knowledge of financial and procurement procedures within the public service.
  • Familiarity with departmental procedures, policies, and relevant legislation.
  • A valid driver’s license.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Capacity to handle pressure and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
