What You’ll Do

  • Manage overall office administration functions in the Directorate.
  • Provide secretarial and receptionist support to the Senior Manager.
  • Compile and manage schedules of appointments for the Senior Manager.
  • Assist with administrative tasks related to meetings, including minute-taking and communication with relevant stakeholders.
  • Coordinate logistical arrangements for meetings as required.
  • Support the Senior Manager with the administration of the Office Budget.
  • Collect and organize documents related to the Director/Chief Director’s budget.
  • Stay updated on policies and procedures relevant to the Senior Manager’s work environment.

What You’ll Need

  • Grade 12 plus a recognized Secretarial Diploma or related qualification.
  • Experience in providing secretarial or administrative support services.
  • A valid driver’s license is an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of Public Service legislative frameworks, policies, and processes.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in advanced computer literacy packages, including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, MS Word, and GroupWise.
  • Good research and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
  • Willingness to occasionally work after hours if needed.
