What You’ll Do
- Process payments on various financial systems including SAGE, PMIS, WCS, and BAS.
- Request and compile reports, capture journals, and clear suspense accounts.
- Monitor payment timelines to ensure compliance with the 30-day payment policy.
- Administer the flow of information in and out of the office effectively.
- Assist in preparing financial statements and schedules for reporting purposes.
- Address queries related to financial operations, including audit inquiries.
- Undertake additional duties as assigned by management to support department objectives.
What You’ll Need
- A minimum of a three-year tertiary qualification (NQF Level 06) in Financial Accounting, Financial Management, or a related field.
- Relevant work experience in financial management or accounting.
- Knowledge of the Public Finance Management Act and regulations from the National Treasury.
- Familiarity with transversal systems such as PMIS, WCS, BAS, and SAGE.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong teamwork skills, creativity, and attention to detail.
