What You’ll Do

• Process payments on various financial systems including SAGE, PMIS, WCS, and BAS.
• Request and compile reports, capture journals, and clear suspense accounts.
• Monitor payment timelines to ensure compliance with the 30-day payment policy.
• Administer the flow of information in and out of the office effectively.
• Assist in preparing financial statements and schedules for reporting purposes.
• Address queries related to financial operations, including audit inquiries.
• Undertake additional duties as assigned by management to support department objectives.

What You’ll Need

• A minimum of a three-year tertiary qualification (NQF Level 06) in Financial Accounting, Financial Management, or a related field.
• Relevant work experience in financial management or accounting.
• Knowledge of the Public Finance Management Act and regulations from the National Treasury.
• Familiarity with transversal systems such as PMIS, WCS, BAS, and SAGE.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Strong teamwork skills, creativity, and attention to detail.
