What You’ll Do
- Facilitate the procurement of goods and services through a formal tender process.
- Provide secretarial support to bid committees and assist in tender compilation.
- Coordinate and execute bidding processes, including attending bid specification committee meetings.
- Prepare and maintain records of all tender documents, evaluations, and submissions.
- Respond to queries during tender briefings and ensure compliance with SCM policies.
- Communicate outcomes to relevant stakeholders, including successful and unsuccessful bidders.
- Supervise and monitor SCM administrative staff to ensure efficient operations.
What You’ll Need
- A minimum of a three-year tertiary qualification in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Public Administration, or related fields.
- Relevant working experience in a Supply Chain environment, particularly in Acquisition Management.
- A valid driver’s licence is required for site visits and meetings.
- Strong knowledge of Supply Chain policies, Treasury Regulations, and related legislation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of liaising at various levels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
- Strong analytical, planning, and organisational skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
