What You’ll Do

  • Support cash flow management and planning activities.
  • Send daily bank statements to relevant units for allocation purposes.
  • Review daily receipts and debits reports to ensure correct allocations.
  • Prepare monthly bank reconciliations for all accounts.
  • Assist in the preparation of suspense account reconciliations.
  • Process journal entries efficiently.
  • Record daily cash flow movements and manage transfers between banks.
  • Prepare monthly intercompany balance reconciliations.
  • Provide necessary information to auditors and liaise with stakeholders.
  • Monitor and report on cash flow projections and variances.
  • Compile quarterly reports on GEPF Service Level Agreement compliance.
  • Prepare monthly reports on PMG bank balances for National Treasury.

What You’ll Need

  • A relevant National Diploma or Degree in Finance (minimum of 360 credits).
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in a Financial Accounting environment, with supervisory experience preferred.
  • Alternatively, a minimum of 5 years’ experience in Financial Accounting.
  • Proficiency in MS Office products and basic accounting principles.
  • Strong multi-tasking ability and the capacity to work under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong time management and adaptability skills.
  • A commitment to honesty, integrity, and attention to detail.
