What You’ll Do

  • Oversee the administration of student registration processes to ensure accuracy and compliance with institutional policies.
  • Develop, review, and implement policies and procedures related to student registration, admission, and scheduling.
  • Manage student data capturing and maintain the integrity of the Student Information System (SIS).
  • Conduct workshops to educate staff on registration policies and procedures.
  • Plan and coordinate the end-to-end student registration process for various programs.
  • Ensure compliance with DHET enrolment targets, reporting requirements, and NSFAS regulations.
  • Supervise and mentor staff, conducting performance assessments and identifying development opportunities.
  • Prepare and submit registration reports to management, providing data analysis to support decision-making.

What You’ll Need

  • An undergraduate qualification (National Diploma NQF Level 6) in Business Administration, Public Management, or a relevant field recognized by SAQA.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in an administrative role, preferably in the post-schooling education and training (PSET) sector.
  • A valid driver’s license (Code B).
  • Strong knowledge of registry practices, data management, and relevant legislative frameworks.
  • Proven report writing, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.
  • Leadership abilities and a strong sense of change management.
