What You’ll Do

What You’ll Need

  • A qualification that allows registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Staff Nurse.
  • Registration with the SANC as a Staff Nurse is mandatory.
  • For Grade 1: No prior nursing experience needed.
  • For Grade 2: A minimum of 10 years recognisable nursing experience post-registration.
  • For Grade 3: At least 20 years of recognisable experience as an enrolled nurse after registration with SANC.
  • Willingness to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Physical ability to lift and turn patients, stand for long periods, and handle heavy equipment.
  • Good communication skills and basic computer literacy.
  • Self-discipline and the ability to interpret basic clinical signs and symptoms.
