What You’ll Do

• Perform general cleaning duties, including dusting, sweeping, polishing, scrubbing, and mopping floors and furniture.
• Ensure the proper disposal of waste by emptying dustbins and sorting soiled linen according to established procedures.
• Utilize cleaning agents and equipment effectively to maintain hygiene standards.
• Assist with the offloading and unpacking of stock as needed.
• Be responsible for maintaining a safe and hygienic environment within the healthcare facility.
• Perform relief duties and be available for overtime work, including night shifts and public holidays at Michael Mapongwana CDC.

What You’ll Need

• Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
• Experience in a cleaning role within a health facility or hospital setting.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy equipment and supplies.
• Willingness to work shifts, including public holidays and nights when required.
