What You’ll Do

• Accompany walking patients and transport non-ambulatory patients safely between wards and treatment areas.
• Assist with transferring patients to beds and trolleys as needed.
• Ensure safe transportation of patients in and out of vehicles.
• Respond to requests from various departments regarding medical equipment or documentation.
• Deliver medical documentation, including patient files and reports, to appropriate areas.
• Change or assist in changing oxygen supplies during patient transport when necessary.
• Ensure timely and safe delivery of laboratory specimens and blood products.
• Maintain a safe and hygienic work environment throughout the facility.

• Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
• Relevant experience as a porter in a healthcare setting.
• Willingness to rotate within wards and departments as needed.
• Physical fitness to handle and lift heavy objects.
